Directions To An Amazing Steakhouse Burger Recipe
First you want to preheat the grill to or pan that you are using to a high heat. There is a reason to have the pan pre-heated. When you place the burger or steak or any meat into a pan that is hot it actually sears or seals the moisture inside the meat!!! Then you can always reduce the heat to allow for longer cook time with out burning the outside .
Start by getting a large bowl,Take the bread and milk together and with a fork or potato masher mix until it forms a chunky paste. Next you want to mix in the salt, pepper, garlic, ketchup and finally Worcestershire sauce then mix well being sure that it is evenly mixed!!!
Now take the scallions and chop them a medium chop. Not really minced you want them finely chopped. Now add the chopped scallions to the ground beef break blend it evenly with your hands. Do not over mix.
Next you want to divide the mixture into ten equal portions. form loose balls and then Flatten them into 3/4-inch patties that are 4-1/2 inches around. Finally you need a slight depression in the center of each patty. This is to prevent the burgers from puffing up on the grill.
Grease the grill with non-flammable cooking spray. I add butter to a hot for flavor. Now pan fry or grill the burgers. Cook the burgers to desired temperature and until nicely browned on the first side Generally 2-4 minutes. Flip burgers and continue cooking for a few minutes more until Reach the desired temperature. Add cheese and let it melt. Add lettuce tomato some nicely grilled or toasted rolls and you are a party on your plate!!!
~The Wine ~
Tingui Merlot
The Merlot grape is creates an elegant, world-class wine. They are soft and approachable when young. The flavor profile is similar to a Cabernet Sauvignon, but more elegant and refined. You will enjoy and share this selection right away…and we hope you do!!! Enjoy!!!
The deep, dense, ruby red color is somewhat darker than other Merlots, providing bolder flavors. Very climate-driven on the nose, with a deep warm earth aroma predominant. Blackberry and flavors of baked raspberry, , and spice spread across the midpalate, and linger almost forever on the finish.
The Wine you are serving if a Red Wine you want to open your wine prior to actually serving it. This allows the wine to breath and literally make it better and the flavors more apparent!!! So give your wine time to breath and it let it sit!!! We served a Tingui Merlot from Chili that we get from the inspiration behind Wine and Dine Wednesday!!!
